Item Upgrade

Currently in RayCitySEA, you are allowed to perform upgrades on 3 different types of items to improve the performance of your car. These 3 item types are limited to Wheels, Lamps and License Plates only.

Lampwheelplate — Rookie Set Lamp, Wheel, License Plate

To perform an item upgrade on these items, an "upgraded tool box" is required.

Double clicking on the "Upgraded Tool Box" opens up an upgrade menu.

Then, drag your desired item into the "Current performance" box to ready it for an upgrade.

Now, click on the "Upgrade" button to complete the procedure.

Congratulations, you have successfully increased the item grade of your wheel by 1. Each upgrade done on items grants you a specific stat for its type.

Lamp - Max SP increase.
Wheel - Booster overdrive increase.
License Plate - Satisfaction Up (For the satisfaction bar of missions)

Do take note that upgrades done on items with grade +5 or higher have a chance of failure which will result in the destruction of your item.

To prevent this from happening, you can restore your failed upgraded items with a special item called "Luma's Body Restoration".

There are 3 variants of this protective item and they are:

Luma's 1st Grade Body Restoration - Protects upgrades of +17 to +18 and +19 to +20 only.

Luma's 2nd Grade Body Restoration - Protects upgrades of +11 to +12, +13 to +14 and +15 to +16 only.

Luma's 3rd Grade Body Restoration - Protects upgrades of +5 to +6, +7 to +8 and +9 to +10 only.

In order to use the Luma's Body Restoration correctly, please purchase the correct Luma's Body Restoration kit and place it in your inventory. In the event of a failed upgrade, Luma's Body Restoration kits of the correct grade protections will ask if you want to restore the destroyed item.

Clicking on "Yes" will restore your item. And your Luma's Body Restoration Kit will be used up.
